Progress

The Hong Kong Trail is mighty and we don't expect you to complete it in one go. We will save your progress for when you return.

Distance

At 70kms long this is the second shortest of the long trails, after the Hong Kong trail. This trail takes you over two of the most popular peaks in Hong Kong and then contrasts that with some of Hong Kong's quietest and most peaceful trails.

Elevation Gain

The Lantau trail throws you straight into the deep end. In the first quarter of the trail, you will conquer peaks 934m and 869m high. The second half of the trail is mostly flat in comparison, for a total trail elevation gain of 3059m.

Time

This trail is only 1/3 longer than the Hong Kong Trail, but it's a tough 1/3. Therefore, the time on trail is a lot more than 1/3 of the Hong Kong trail. Expect almost 30 hours on the trail
