If you are new to Hong Kong or hiking, our hiking guide is the perfect companion to lead the way. Simply download the app and select the MacLehose Trail. Below are features of the guide you will find useful.

Progress

The Hong Kong Trail is mighty and we don't expect you to complete it in one go. We will save your progress for when you return.

Distance

At 100km, The MacLehose Trail is Hong Kong's longest trail. See our table below for a recommended day plan. Remember with Trail Challenger you can do it over many more or fewer days. There is no limit.

Elevation Gain

Yes, you guessed it, the MacLehose is the trail with the most elevation gain! With just over 5000m of gain, you will truly earn your medal when your hit 100%!

Time

The time really isn't important. It's great to be near the top of the leaderboard, but finishing is the main goal. For a rough estimate, 34 hours of hiking is the average.
