At only 6.3km, it's not the distance that will challenge you one this hike, it's the altitude gain.
This challenge tracks you to the top, so you can add another 6km for the decent.
Mount Fuji stands at 3776m, however, the base camp is already a good way up the mountain.
From base camp to the peak you will ascend 1474m.
The time it takes depends on the time of day. If you set off with everyone else (at noon) and sleep in a tea house you can except a very slow acent, totalling around 10 Hours.
